Who We Are
Neil Sobin, CEO and Founder
Neil’s background combines fifteen years of developing and building businesses focused on AI, Distributed Sensing, and Defense Technology.
Prior to founding Quartermaster, Neil led Defense Strategy at Scale where he supported the development of mission critical AI for global challenges, was Head of Growth at Hivemapper - a distributed global mapping network, and helped venture-backed companies adapt their products to support national security missions.
Neil’s work has been recognized in TIME magazine Invention of Year, innovation awards within the DoD, a program of record for the US Army, and featured in global news publications for their ground-breaking approaches to security problems.
Neil lives outside Washington, D.C with his family and enjoys playing piano and training for the new alpinism.

Marisa Beck, Head of Operations
Marisa’s expertise is in the development of highly scalable business infrastructure for companies and systems that span hardware, software, and operations.
She lives near Washington, D.C with her family. In her spare time, Marisa can be found horseback riding, heading to the rock climbing gym, or enjoying national parks.
